You can do anything – You have divine powers. That’s the present reality of the believer in Christ Jesus. In Acts 1:8 we see that we have received DUNAMIS, the divine power of God. What people refer to as miracles in the time of Jesus physically on earth was the normal expressions of the life of Jesus. These things called miracles becomes a natural expression of our life when we live the God life. You are not helpless because the Holy Spirit is your present help! You cannot experience discomfort when you have a comforter. (Colossians 1:26-29)
:
We ought to understand who we are and confess it. If for the sake of the audience listening we need to make any reference to our humanity, it shouldn’t come from our heart. You know you aren’t Nigerian or American as a Christian but for the sake of communication, you may need to tell people you’re American even though in your heart you know you are from above just like Jesus. For example, Jesus told his disciples that Lazarus was sleeping and they never understood it! (John 11:11) For the sake of their limited understanding, Jesus said Lazarus is dead but that was never from his heart. No wonder He never asked Lazarus to get up from the dead, He said “come forth!”
:
You must see the powers inside of you as divine but as yours and not something you have to make beg for! Look at Moses, God asked him to stretch forth and divide the red sea, God didn’t ask him to stretch forth so that He (God) would divide it. God has the credit for all we do in His name but He has empowered us to do it and not to keep waiting for Him to do something.
:
Look at Ephesians 3:19-20 and you’ll get to understand that the divine power of God is so at work in us beyond our desires. See Philippians 2:13, it is God at operation inside of you! You see why you don’t have to beg for power as a believer? You’ve already got it inside of you, you just need to know and know more so that you can operate in God’s power to a greater measure! Philippians 4:13 explicitly said God empowers us for all things. We are self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency because God’s power is at work in us. Therefore we aren’t afraid of anything because we can make every good thing happen!
:
In 2 Corinthians 3:5 you see humanity is limited but the believer in Christ is rooted in God from where their power is sourced. Our power, ability and sufficiency is from God. We are from above and not of this world even though we are in the world. The knowledge of this will make you live a life where what ever people say doesn’t matter! At a point, no one can even disqualify you regardless of who they are! Luck doesn’t exist, you are not lucky… No one is lucky! You are either living in Christ or you’re living worldly. To be worldly isn’t just about being immoral, it is to be limited!
:
Act 4:13 shows us that when we are with Jesus we stay competent at all levels! Jesus makes all the difference. Unbelievers were able to recognize that the Peter and John have been with Jesus. Believe me, people will recognize that same thing about you and they will say “he is a success because he is born again”, this is your life… A higher life in Christ.
:
Right now, begin to express this life… Stop expressing humanity, express God because you’re like Him! One way people will see God in you is when you express that love that has been shed abroad in your heart. Love puts compassion into you to help the poor, raise the dead and do other good works. It also sets you up for success.
:
Glory to God!
Blessings.
