Receiving salvation is not in any other means like confessing your sins, crying over and over again because of your sins or any other way than what the Bible clearly showed us.
:
“because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.” – Romans 10:9‭-‬10 ESV
:
Believing what God says brings you into union with Him. You don’t believe God’s word with your brain because your brain can’t think it out! You believe with your heart and confess what you believe with your mouth. When you confess it, you endorse it! To confess here means to say the same thing in agreement with what God has already said! If God said “I have saved you” by confession you’re acknowledging that “yes, I am saved”
:
Believing in your heart is a spiritual principle and confessing it with your mouth brings what you believe into reality. The power of life and death lies in your tongue and this means when you confess it you’re bringing it alive into the physical realm!
:
I see folks who always argue about confession but this is biblical and the only way to receive! You believe with your heart but you confess with your mouth because out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks! To confess is not to start talking about your sins or your mistakes! Oh no! The Christian confession means to re-echo continuously what God has said and it takes believing to confess right! God’s word says I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and that is what my confession should be.
:
Confession brings your mind together! When it seems you’re experiencing a bad day or doubt… You don’t go ahead to amplify that bad day or doubt! You start confessing what God has said concerning your day! Yes, the Bible says the sun won’t strike you by the day nor the moon by the night!
:
God never gave us life to be mean, He gave us life in it’s abundance! He gave us life that we might enjoy it! You can always confess into reality the truth of the life you have received! The Bible says
:
“The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).” – John 10:10 AMPC
:
It is not God’s will that you don’t enjoy the dividends of salvation! In Jesus you have life and it’s meant to be enjoyed! You can reach others and think they will receive this sweet gospel when you aren’t even happy with your life. You are not happy with your life as a believer is because you don’t even know the beauty of the life you have received. To enjoy this life is your choice, God wants it for you but you ought to be intentional about it.
:
The Bible says “Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.”
– Philippians 4:4 KJV
:
The Holy Spirit wouldn’t ask you to rejoice always if it’s not in your Christ given ability to rejoice always! You have to decide not to let your mistakes, your environment and all negativities affect your joy! Meanwhile, you can live above mistakes and you’ll get there in your consistent walk with Christ. It doesn’t matter if your partner walked out on you, it doesn’t matter if your boss sacked you, it doesn’t matter if you have lost someone…. You can rejoice always in the Lord and be full of it! It doesn’t mean your mood may not want to switch but do not let it overcome you…. Laugh, jump, jubilate and keep confessing the word!
:
One of the major keys of been full of joy is to confess the word of God, keep confessing it when you feel like and when you don’t feel like! Confess it when it makes sense and when it doesn’t make sense! If you’re saved by believing and confessing Lord Jesus, it means you keep enjoying the dividends of salvation when you keep confessing the realities of who you are in Christ into physical manifestation.
:
Don’t depend on any external factors! Yes, people can make us happy, friends can make us happy but we shouldn’t depend one bit on them for that! Our fulfillment should be in fulfilling the purpose of our calling in Christ to God’s pleasure! You can’t be frustrated in life when you choose this path! Nobody is responsible for the life you live today. You may have been born into a very poor earthly family but they aren’t what define how you fare in life! You may have also been born into a very wealthy family but they do not define you or how your life goes.
:
As you study the word, confess it and enjoy your life in Christ. This is a higher life!
:
Blessings.
