There are several books and teachings regarding principles of succeeding, even in exams. They are all great books and we are not writing this article because there have not been nice ones out there. However, we believe that with the points here, you’d be an outstanding student and we are showing Bible ways of success. It is God’s desire that every one of us succeeds and through His word, we can allow the seed of greatness in us come into reality. Here are the Biblical ways we have outlined, there may be more but this is essential.
:
KNOW WHO YOU ARE!
“Which is His body, the fullness of Him that filleth all in all” – Ephesians 1:23.
:
You are the body of Christ, the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way! Until you understand this, you may not be able to act as who you are. It is amazing to know that you are the body of Christ, same who fills everything in every way! The Bible says in Ephesians 2:10
:
“For we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
:
Through you, God fills everything everywhere! Passing your exams to God’s glory is part of the good works you can showcase to His glory. God has designed you for greatness and it is this consciousness that prepares you for the next level.
:
KNOW WHAT YOU CAN DO
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” – Phillipians 4:13
:
Through Christ who supplies you with strength, you can do all things! Well, some folks would just say “yes, I can pass my exams through Christ” and I would want to remind them “you can also read and study your books through Christ!” Knowing what you can do kicks you up to start doing them and knowing that all the strength needed for you to study your course and pass your exams isn’t just from you but also from Christ makes you ever ready to take advantage of His strength! You don’t just have the breath of God in you, you have the life of God in you and this life contains His power!
:
ACT WHO YOU ARE
“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” – James 1:22
:
Knowing who you are doesn’t give you automatic success, it only make you know you know you can experience success if you want. Acting on what you know makes it a reality. What you know and what you do should be the same! The evidence of what you know is in what you do. It is only by taking actions that you can produce results! You cannot be asking God to bless the works of your hands when your hand has no work! As a matter of truth, you are blessed of God already and the knowledge of this should push you into doing something so that it can be evident.
:
Pray all you want, if you do not read your books and study, you will not pass your exams. If you do not go to work or implement ideas, you will not make money. Money won’t fall from the sky neither will “A” result appear on your result just like that! God is not a magician. He created us and gave us right to choice… You either choose to succeed or you choose to fail! Now, start reading and studying as one who has already succeeded! You have conquered failure and the only option you have is to showcase this success or let it stay inside of you without manifesting it out.
:
APPLY WISDOM
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven” – Ecclesiastes 3:1
:
You must not misplace priorities! There is time to study your books, time to look for ways to be financially independent, time to visit friends, time to be in fellowships and time for other things! You don’t do one against another; you don’t spend all your time in Church hoping that an Angel comes to write your exams for you! God does not cheat! Speak in tongues all day ignoring what you ought to do, there will be no good news from Angel Gabriel… You will fail woefully! Do not use prayers as an excuse for your laziness. Your mission in school is to represent God in every sphere! As you win souls in school, get engaged in campus fellowship activities and play your roles in certain leadership capacities, also show case the excellent spirit God has given you through academic excellence.
:
Some would say they aren’t committed to Christian fellowships because they are reading for exams! Excuse me, service time is service time and reading time is reading time. Create your personal time table and get your activities ordered. You can pray, win souls, study the bible and still study your academic courses.
:
PRAY & REJOICE ALWAYS
While we have clearly seen there is time for everything it should be very clear that we can rejoice and pray at all times. This is a different context from setting a prayer time. Here, we are simply saying that whatever we do, we do it with prayers and with joy! You don’t read or study by praying but with prayers! What we mean by this is, when you are going through your course outline, you are not complaining or saying “oh! I just can’t succeed in this field!” rather you declare as you read “I understand this course better! I am wise and I am super-intelligent.” You encourage yourself in the Lord and with a joyful heart. You study with a consciousness in you that you know all things and can’t forget. Rejoice always (Philippians 4:4)… As you are doing your academic work, always declare with faith in God “I have an excellent Spirit, I have an excellent personality, my results are good and I bless God for that!” You are giving thanks always because you are sure of your success!
:
Whenever you feel down and discouraged, always go back to God who is your source of strength! The Bible says in 1 Peter 5:7 that you cast your cares on God for He cares! When you act this way, you are exercising absolute trust in God!
:
Hope this blessed your life!
We’ll be glad to receive your feedbacks and testimonies!
