INTERVIEW WITH GEORGE
:
Q: What are your five favorite books, and why?
A: I love Grace by Max Lucado, The War is Over by Andrew Wommack, The Two Edged Sword by Andrew Wommack, Evangelism by Fire by Reinhard Bonkee. THE BIBLE (Not any kind of book but it’s my favourite). I mentioned these books because they showcased a lot about God’s infinite grace. It goes a long way to show that God is never angry and that the victory of every believer above darkness is sure. People will expect me to mention some books on women but surprisingly, the Bible is what I read about women.
:
Q: What do you read for pleasure?
A: My answer may sound awkward… Basically, I derive pleasure from reading the Bible. Someone would say “the Bible?”, well yes! However, I also love reading articles from other Christian bloggers! And hmmm… I love reading about others people’s culture and religion… I am very inquisitive.
:
Q: What is your e-reading device of choice?
A: I hate reading with laptops… So don’t guess it is the laptop. You see, I work with computers a lot but I only choose to work with it! When it’s time to have fun, I pick up my Android or apple tablet device!
:
Q: What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
A: I haven’t tried any before… Perhaps I would answer you next time.
:
Q: Describe your desk
A: Hmmm… Scattered papers, scientific calculator, maps, diverse kinds of books and ooh! My Bible and English Dictionary… What about my tablet and laptop? You will also find them… All on my desk when I am set to write! My desk makes me crazy! Lol!
:
Q: When did you first start writing?
A: I started writing while I was in primary three! My first book then was “The Narrow Escape”… The manuscript was stolen later. However, it is not the same with the title in the market.
:
Q: What’s the story behind your latest book?
A: Lol! Its really funny… A serious book with a funny beginning!
Lately, I discovered that women were been maltreated, rejected and called all sort of names. I saw it everywhere including in Churches were they are not allowed to be very relevant. I took my emotions to Facebook… They asked me what was on my mind after all. I was typing a post titled “Dedicated to Women” and on the process I discovered it was a very long post. I didn’t post it because my readers may ignore that very long article. I cut it from the Facebook box and pasted it on my Office software… If amounted to about 10 pages on the Tahoma 14pt sized font. I kept writing and it became “DEDICATED TO WOMEN”, a book.
:
Q: What motivated you to become an indie author?
A: I actually saw myself writing… Perhaps this is what people call talent.
:
Q: How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
A: Well! I must say that Smashwords has been used by God to make my dream a reality! I have actually tried printing with some companies like WestBrow… I was actually making savings for it. Then, an American blogger told me about Smashwords… Though it is eBook, it was a breakthrough for me… Not just because my book will be published but because I have a message that the whole world is yearning for… Now, I can leave the task for Smashword and keep working on my other projects.
:
Q: What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
A: My joy is not fame, money or material things! I am glad when people are transformed and affected with my writings… And I see it happening through my blog and as well my books.
:
Q: What do your fans mean to you?
A: My fans? Awww!!! They mean a lot to me and sometimes I have a way of turning some fans into friends and partners! Many times people call me from Facebook, Youtube, Instagram and surprisingly, an eBook reader on Smashwords once called me to say she was very happy to come across my books on this platform! I was very surprised particularly about that.
:
Q: What are you working on next?
A: I am working on taking my Video channels serious and I am working on two new books! Not just a motivational or inspirational book but a story!
:
Q: Who are your favorite authors?
A: Max Lucado, Derek Prince and Andrew Wommack are My favs… I pick their books off the book stores without checking the contents.
:
Q: Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
A: Lol! I do!!!
I remember I wrote a story when I was in primary 3 at Early Life Nursery and Primary School, Obosi. I wrote it on a drawing paper and I was excited about it because I was learning to write with pen. We had always used pencils then. I gave it a title “The Narrow Escape” but later lost it to peers!
:
Q: Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
A: Well, I can’t remember the first story I ever read. I grew up reading because I have a mum who loves reading too! She made sure we started reading when we were very little and she made sure we summarize whatever we read and submit to her. Unbelievably, I started reading books made for secondary schools when I was in junior primary and I started understanding them then!
:
Q: How do you approach cover design?
A: I love catchy and very simple designs! I don’t like too many colors and too many details!
:
Q: When you’re not writing, how do you spend your time?
A: When I am not writing, I am reading and when I am not reading, I am speaking and when I am not speaking, I am creating something new… Perhaps an idea, a website, a design and so on! I just can’t be doing nothing… You know.
:
Q: Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
A: Would I say I grew up in a particular neighborhood? It could be half truth! I grew up inside the home, I wasn’t allowed to go out as a child and interact with friends. We would okay our football in the sitting room. I actually became a shy person… In search of a companion, I found the papers where I could pour my emotions.
I also went to a boarding school or do I call it burden? Lol! It was St. Christopher’s Junior Seminary School, in Onitsha, Nigeria. I was bullied and despised by people… I only found solace in my papers. I had no notes for class because I converted all to a story book!
The people I also met affected me… I became poetic after meeting some people! Lol! They are people like Lucy… A girl I met during secondary school exams! She was my first serious crush! Hahahaha… After her, I learnt to be in charge of My emotions!
:
Q: What else do you do?
A: I am a recording artist and a public speaker. I have released songs and my name in the music world is “GracefulGeorge”
:
Q: Are you currently in a relationship?
A: Well, for now… I am not.
:
Q: Why?
A: I wouldn’t say its because I am searching. I think I have searched, I think I might have seen… But maybe, the process haven’t just started! Hahahaha…. I take my time for stuffs like this because I don’t just think relationship, I think marriage. I am also known for speaking and writing on relationships, so we must live by example! I want to take my time and be the best!

The Love Story
Language: English. Published: September 9, 2016.
From the author of “Dedicated to Women” comes this blockbuster story!!! It is often said that no one is perfect but not about Mark! Cynthia had seen Mark this way until a faithful day when she denied him just like Peter denied Jesus… She finally felled into the hands of Erebus, the antagonist and bad guy of the story! Life became different or was that life at all?
