First, you can’t do without friendship! I say that authoritatively. I am not a party to the folks that seem to promote a “man alone” kind of life! God created man to be like Him! God wants relationship and man is created to also want relationship! Man is not made to work and walk alone. Your failure or success is largely dependent on the type of friends you keep but when you’re all alone you have only one option which is failure! Even the almighty Jesus did come working alone, He choose His friends! The Bible says
“Two people are better than one. When two people work together, they get more work done.  If one person falls, the other person can reach out to help. But those who are alone when they fall have no one to help them.  If two people sleep together, they will be warm. But a person sleeping alone will not be warm.  An enemy might be able to defeat one person, but two people can stand back-to-back to defend each other. And three people are even stronger. They are like a rope that has three parts wrapped together—it is very hard to break.” – Ecc. 4:9‭-‬12 ERV

:

If you want to go far in life, don’t just move with people who are speeding…

Yes, it’s not a mistake… Let me say it again… Don’t just move with people who are speeding…

Rather, move with people who are also determined to go far!

:

Certain people move with speed but quickly halt to a stop after some speed drive while some may be moving slowly but determined to get to the place they are meant to be! It may take some years of commitment, it may take some years of building, it may take some years of learning, unlearning and relearning but at the end of the day they get to the point they’re are supposed to be!

:

Every great person started somewhere at some time! Nobody woke up and became great! You must gradually build your brand and give people reasons to really trust your brand if you want it to sell!

:

At some points, the great names you hear today were at one time not known but it was in its building process! Don’t make friends with people who want quick success but cannot work towards building a legacy, don’t make friends with people who aren’t thinking of greatness and building towards it!

:

Great people are not people who made money… They’re people who has built a lasting legacy!

:

What legacy are you building today? Or are you just into the business of making money without really thinking of being a solution to people’s problem? Ahaaa…. Yes! Great and successful people are people who are solutions to people’s problem!

:

Network with the right people and your life will move in the right direction!

:

“Good people are careful about choosing their friends, but evil people always choose the wrong ones.” – Prov. 12:26 ERV

:

There are various categories of people that come into our lives… It’s important that we know them, their mission and who they came from!

:

Just as God is sending people your way, the devil is also actively sending people your way too! God sends people your way to make life easier either for you or for themselves and the devil send people your way to make life harder for you. Well, there are people you send to yourself too and so you must not always blame the devil when you make the wrong association… Like minds attracts… Hope you know that?

:

Not everyone who come into your life come to stay. Some come to make a vital input into your life and when their time is up, they leave. And some come to stay forever! Those inputs can be godly and they can be devilish! The assignments of people in your life is heavily dependent on who brought them your way. You need to carefully study the role of people in your life and note what they’ve been doing! When the wrong one come to stay forever you’ll live wrongly for the rest of your life and things might not definitely work out fine!

:

Sometimes, God also send people who you can help intellectually, morally and financially! As you count what you’re getting out of every association, you must also count what you’re giving out! One of the most important prayers you should be praying is that you meet people who need your help and people who are of help to you! Most importantly, be on the giving end… Always be the one to help but don’t refuse help when they come!

:

Samson had a very great future, he was created to save Israel from the hands of the Philistines! But something happened… Samson made the wrong association. He died a miserable death. Yes, he died with his enemies but it wasn’t a successful mission! (Judges 16)

:

Carefully study your association… Are there presence in your life bringing glory to God’s name? Is it bearing positive fruits or are they agents of distraction? The Bible is clear on what bad friends can do…

:

“Bad friends will ruin good habits.” – 1 Cor. 15:33 ERV

:

Your answer determines what action you take! Cut everything that doesn’t exalt the name of God in your life! They may be friends who leaves you with no savings, friends who leave you lazy and unproductive… Cut it off!

:

Friendship is a magic! It either makes you very successful or a failure! Your passion can be blown off when you make friends with people who detests your passion! And believe me, the ones who can light fire in you and encourage you to keep moving is no other people than your friends! When you have friends who are so supportive of what you do, it’s not possible to fail! Job came to the very worst point in his life but he had the right friends… God gave him the right friends and used them to set him up again! The Bible says

:

“Job’s three friends heard about all the bad things that happened to him, so Eliphaz came from Teman, Bildad from Shuah, and Zophar from Naamah. They met together and went to comfort Job and show him their sympathy.” – Job 2:11 ERV
“Job prayed for his friends, and the Lord made Job successful again. The Lord gave him twice as much as he had before.” – Job 42:10 ERV

:

God didn’t send things from the sky… It probably came through his friends!

:

Connect to friendships that work!
