“Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.” Matthew 5:11
In the previous post, it seemed like we “were” going to be blessed. Some feels they are not blessed because of what they are passing through but in the above scripture reference, we can see that in the midst of revile, persecution and accusations, we are blessed for the sake of Jesus. Our conditions are not enough to say if we are blessed. We are not blessed the day people begin to see the blessings, we were blessed before they started seeing the manifestation.
“Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.” James 1:12
Do you know why you must remain happy in the midst of persecution? Because you’re blessed already. It is the knowledge of these blessings that makes you laugh even in the prison. That was the secret of Paul and Silas singing and praying in the prison. Even after they had been beaten, there was still cause to praise the name of God, they still found reasons to withstand the persecution because they know they are blessed already. When we see beyond physical blessings, we can withstand persecution and earthly pressures.
Truth is, we have been blessed already. God has blessed us with all kind of blessings, there is no other blessings left with which he has not blessed us.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 1:3
We all know, the Spiritual controls the physical. If we have been blessed with all spiritual blessings then there is no physical blessings left. Get what the Bible is saying, we are not just blessed with spiritual blessings but all that is in the heavenly places. Understand the logic, the earth is also under the jurisdiction of the heavenly authority. If every blessing in heaven has been made available to us, then we shouldn’t be worried about getting a good job, about having good children… All we need to do is believe that we already have them! You don’t need to believe when you see it or see before believing. You need to believe and only believe before you experience it as it has been written:
“I have made you a father of many nations.”–before God whom he believed, the One giving life to the dead and calling into being the things not even existing” Romans 4:17
It is time to experience the extraordinary blessings of God because it is time to start believing before seeing. God calls into being the things not even existing. I love how the King James Bible puts it “calling things which are not as though they were”. Your confession needs to change.
Confession: I have being blessed with all blessings available in heaven. I cannot fail, it is only success! In my moving out and going in, in all areas of my life, I can only experience God’s blessings. For my sake others will be blessed. Thank you Lord for the extraordinary blessings.
